Met this fine young thing
 At the local Circle K
 She made a date for a half past eight

 So I journeyed to her crib

 I was bummin', those shows kept comin'

 I think I'd probably kill him

 Telephone began to ring

 I didn't know what to do
 It kinda looked like I was hooked

 And on every date, we both stay up late
