When I'm Five

When I'm five
 Nothing in the world is gonna bother me
 I'll go to bed
 Wearing underoos
 Cuz underoos are groovy
 When I'm five
 I won't have to worry 'bout the deficit
 I'll eat some paste
 and I'll suck my thumb
 Cuz thumbs were made for sucking
 When I'm five
 I will start to read a book like big kids do
 But it'll be real hard
 So then I'll color some
 Cuz coloring is easy
 When I'm five (I'll be almost six)
 I won't know the people starving round the world
 And that's real sad
 But I won't know
 Cuz know one ever told me
 When I'm five
 I won't know the pain that goes with broken hearts
 I'll play with blocks
 And I won't touch girls
 Cuz they could give me kooties
 When I'm five
 I won't have to think if there's a God or not
 I'll believe in him
 And he'll believe in me
 And that is called religion
 When I'm five
 Everything gets better with a good night's sleep
 Laughing's fine
 And so is crying too
 Cuz everybody does it
 When I'm five
 Nothing in the world is gonna bother me
 I'll play with mud
 And I'll sing some songs
 Cuz songs are there for singing
