All My Ex-Girlfriends

I've noticed a trend and I'd like to retell it
 Cuz it's pretty surreal and I think they'd do well if
 They made it a movie, I'm sure they could sell it
 But instead I put it here in this song
 All my ex-girlfriends end up with my friends
 And I'm so glad they're happy, but it's hard to pretend
 That it doesn't affect me and it happens again and again
 I'm starting to see that I know how to choose them
 And lucky for my friends, I know how to lose them
 But I don't understand how they just can't refuse them
 When they know that I dated them first
 All my ex-girlfriends end up with my friends
 And I'm so glad they're happy, but it's hard to pretend
 That it doesn't affect me and it happens again and again
 Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying i'm jealous
 But I talk to the mirror cuz I'm all outta fellas
 And the guy over there says "be glad that they tell us"
 But I'm pretty sure that that makes it worse

 I guess in the end that it don't really matter
 And if I think about it, I guess that i'm flattered
 That when I introduced them, their hearts pitter pattered
