A glow in the forge of life
 Immortals grew blind
 Deceit seared his hand in the fire
 And diseased the marrow of time
 The devil is in the night sky
 His shadow consumes the light
 Weaving the weight of the world
 The anger
 The madness
 The horror
 It devours me
 A vision trapped in worldly guise
 The dragon in the dream
 A spirit meant to soar
 Cursing the chains of it's matter
 Needs of the body
 Life of the mind
 These must join

 A desert of wasted days
 An ocean of tears
 A darkness of demon - design
 In your bones the black hand of fear
 Masterful is the night sky
 When shadows conceal the light
 Fear is the weight of the world
 It's anger
 And madness
 And horror
 And it tires me
 Lightning flashes
 Deep in the night
 The battle of titans revealed
 A timeless vision promised me
 My dragon's but a dream
