We are living in the ice age
 A blizzard of blind rage
 Remembering the spring
 Beneath these frozen years
 Buried by the snowstorm
 With no one to keep warm
 We disappear into the ice age
 Enshrouded in our fears
 Drifting alone
 Far from home
 Stagger on through the day
 Into dismay
 Innocence is so hard to recall
 But how can you care when you're numb from despair?
 And when all's said & done
 What have we become
 Our hearts deaf & dumb
 Look beyond these four walls
 Your conscience calls
 Look into the eyes of those you despise
 Beware the reflection
 The common connection
 That cries
 Memories of green
 Summers I've seen
 We all seemed to change somehow
 The wide eyes of youth are now a dream
 Palaces of gold
 Barren & cold
 I long for my distant home
 'Cause now I'm just wandering alone
 Proud unbeliever
 Lifetime achiever
 Where willl you go now
 That you have need of hope?
 Naked in the snowstorm
 Who willl keep the lost warm?
 Leave 'em dying in the ice age
 Not everyone can cope

 Memories of light
 Stunning heights
 Before we were swept away
 By the scurry & the strife of modern life

 Nothing there to see
