Feet, you've brought me here,
 To this wide lifeless shore
 Was it me who led the way, or was I led?
 Eyes, you've seen the path,
 Or were you blind all this time?
 Disoriented by a myriad crossroads
 Giving in to your inward fright
 Was your will your own along the way?
 What took you to the strand?
 Reason slept and so your mind went absent
 But if I'm ever mine...
 Will I ever see through the wall of light?
 Stranded before the stretching sea
 Gentle, the waves are calling me
 Silent, a barren land in sight
 Wisdom, so close and yet so distant
 Hands, stop shaking now,
 And regain your once firm grasp
 Yet though the sand might slip through you
 Sometimes you have to filter out what hurts
 Heart, keep pounding hard
 With the confidence the waves come forth
 For the tide won't let us go now,
 Feel the calling of the old man of the sea
 Stranded before the stretching sea
 Gentle, the waves are calling me
 Silent, a barren land in sight
 Wisdom, so close and yet so distant
 A towering body of surging water rises ahead
 I'm on the edge of the deep blue abyss;
 I merge with it
