Daughter

Early morning, I watch you sleep
 Not everyone is as lucky as me
 I kiss your forehead, before I leave
 Soon we'll be old and forget how it feels
 To be young and in love, for the very first time
 Build a home of our own
 Have a child, and what it's like
 When the sun is beginning to rise
 Oh, how I hope that if we have a daughter
 She'll grow up to be like you
 If she sometimes, takes after her father
 That would be okay too

 We could move to another country
