When the news came in that you weren't coming home
 I fell down on the ground
 Then the news it came that you'd already gone
 I panicked to you on the phone
 Cause you were my best friend
 And that will not fade with time
 I cannot simply pretend
 That i've done much more than survive
 I think we both want
 The same thing
 But we see the same thing so differently
