He's Good For Me

He's good for me, but am I good for him?
 Good enough for him?
 How can I impress his friends?
 Stand there like a dope and "yes" his friends?
 I'd be out of place, I'm wrong.
 He would see I don't belong.
 He would try to build me up, like a poor unwanted pup.
 I know he's good for me, but am I good for him?
 Good enough for him?
 I can't see the likes of him settling for the likes of me.
 Not from where I'm sitting.
 My love life looks hopelessley grim.
 So why do I keep kidding myself?
 I'm not smart enough, I'm not fine enough.
 I'm not swell enough, sure.
 So he's good for me.
 But am I good enough for him?
