Zombie

I open my eyes
 And look in the mirror
 Am I alive inside?
 My face is torn
 My skin's been worn out
 Do I even have a home?
 To the place I thought was once my own
 I come and see myself
 Completely decomposed
 Get me out of my head
 It's the dawn of the dead
 I'm the zombie instead
 Save me from my mind
 Maybe one day I'll find
 I am terrified
 Of myself
 I left the homes
 Where I was afraid
 To make any noise
 I hope to go back now
 And watch them all
 Burn down in flames
 They're running out the door
 Screaming from the gore
 They're not alive anymore

 Now I seem to be afraid with everyone
 I lost all my trust the last drop that I had
 Of their blood on my teeth as they're screaming out
