Ebb and flow of my heart
 Pull together push apart
 Hold me close or run away
 Pretty soon the feeling fades
 And I am left once more all on my own

 Honest lies
 Head and heart they compromise
 Pushing me from love to lust
 Although they know I'm poisonous
