Party to Say Goodbye

Summer is at its height
 And this night will be the shortest of the year
 Everything is green
 But fifteen is old enough to feel fear

 Just yesterday we met
 And I forget how many days it's been since then
 But I am leaving for lifetime
 I am cut off at the stem
 And the plane leaves at 10 a.m
 And my friends are all drunk outside but I don't care
