As I walk through hostile land
 My feet are numb in the sand
 I pray this weight that I carry
 Please take away, Mother Mary
 Been so caught up in the war that I started
 I can't win this battle of my mind
 It's my fault, I left my heart unguarded
 The enemy travels through the night
 So I'm on a bed of rocks with one eye open
