Fairytale

It's kinda hard to comprehend
 How we think this world is dumb yet has a plan
 It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense
 I think we need to readjust our lens
 Cause nothing here grows without a perfect home
 And yet we are afraid of the universe's tone
 And we wonder why we always feel alone
 But how can we be scared of a life we've never known
 Because we sit here
 Strung out on lies
 Struggling to understand why
 It never seems to turn out right
 Obsessed with trying to figure out
 What it's really all about
 Heads buried in a fairytale
 Common sense revolution must prevail
 No i don't know what the future holds
 It seems like just a concept that keeps us growing old
 Regretting all the things we never did
 To tell the next generation just precisely how to live
 Submission leads to orders leads to living like a drone
 But all we do about it is sit back and bitch and moan
 And continue to debate what proper people should condone
 It's time we stand up and use our backbone
 Because we sit here
