I woke up early this morning
 With you right beside me.
 Hand in hand, cheek to cheek
 In my arms so pleasantly.
 We take a walk and spend the day
 Through the streets uptown
 Until the clouds form above
 And the rain journeys down
 Why can't I see

 As we head to the nearest place
 To get shelter from the storm

 I can feel my world crumbling
 As i stare out the window pane
 My body's starting to go numb
 I wonder if i'd feel the rain

 May happen to be true
 But it doesn't mean i want the end

 Tomorrow's just another day
