Lost Soul

I'm searching for some happiness in my life
 Oblivious and forgotten, shall I use this knife
 In this world I feel so empty and lonely
 And lonliness seems to be my one and only
 I've been losing more of myself day by day
 Nobody seems to notice the pain on my face
 I'm an old soul encased in a young body
 Sleeping has become my new favourite hobby
 My life has become very lonely and tiring
 I don't know much but I'm still breathing
 I'm not living my life moves in slow motion
 Like a lost soul wandering an endless ocean

 I've tried so hard to be normal once or twice
 But those were the worst days of my life
 I've tried to drink away the lonely nights
 But my pain knows how to swim and so it survived
 I feel so lost so deep inside of myself
 I feel like I've lost all my beauty and wealth
 Maybe I'll be alright one day I say
 But it will take more than words for my pain to go away
 My life has become very lonely and tiring
 I don't know much but I'm still breathing
 I'm not living my life moves in slow motion

 I want to sleep until I'm healed
 No amount of rest can cure the way I feel
 I want to ease the pain and tiredness within
 So I'll just pretend to be okay and hope one day I win
