The Room

Verse: And in his eyes there was a room, like any other room
 There was a table, free of cups and trays

 A list that hung against the giant wooden door

 None of them looked like their paintings
 That hung from the ceilings or walls

 Distorted words were locked somewhere behind his tongue
 They watched him sweat, wiping his head
 And then the threw up the slime that had started to climb
