Still Just One Moon

Someone somewhere declared we march off holding guns
 To point and fire should we see different same someones
 It matters not though they have lives the same as you
 Their flag is different so your orders control you
 Beside me wondering there's hundreds more like me
 When will that final moment find us randomly
 Will we get time to know and feel our last goodbyes
 Or will that last misfortune be our last surprise
 All we know, is we won't know
 I could be home now lying under her Willow tree
 Gazing quiet stars her perfumed softness next to me
 Familiar summer breeze within the corn protects us there
 As far can be away from fear, as her noises tease the air
 Lying there each second 30 miles through space we move
 But instead of reaching other lives our own ones we remove
 It's so much harder to approach than to destroy
 Bullets now approaching mum, dad, on target for your boy
