It Gathers

Look up through the night maybe you'll see a sign
 Every constellation is a message in time
 Messengers approaching in a voyaging shine
 Harbingers a-travelling frozen in line
 Reaching out a signal from the past unwinds
 All these billion light years have we all been blind
 What we're looking for is what we could never find
 Not everything we need to see is

 The echo it hides can never be found
 Seeking is not always the way to find
 Stepping forward leaves phantoms behind

 Money only makes seem misery better

 Don't think what to act just act out the thought
 The things we all need can never be bought
 Dying to live or living to die
 You will see more with no plank in your eye
 Afraid of the dark, afraid of the light
 Chasing two hares catch neither you might
 What would we do if we knew we won't fail
 Talk of the devil and you'll see his tail
 Those who can't shine will try and confuse
 But risking nothing is worse than to lose and that matters to me
