ENMITY

The loss of a loved one is hard to fathom
 Someone's son or daughter sent to God's palace
 And with malice revenge is how we feel after
 Wanting justice when God, inscribed a book that will
 Predetermine events, it's all His plan
 Feel like I'm drowning in sorrow to understand
 And we never will, cause it's past our scope
 Then darkness sets in, preying on our hopes
 I feel this pain, and I'm feeling lost inside, inside
 Deep in my brain, I feel like I'm gonna lose my mind, my mind
 Dear Lord, please ease the enmity
 I can't bear another loss, I can't lose a friend to me
 In my heart, you're dear to me, and the Bible I believe
 So much anguish in my heart, sorrow, contemplating the
 Decisions that were made, and the feelings that's impacted
 The things I could've done, and the outcomes that affected
 And if I could've protected, I'm drowning in sorrow
 If only they could live to see tomorrow
 It's around the corner I sense it, there's something different
 My anguish sets in, destined to walk and finish
 Please forgive all the wrongdoers that crossed my path
 They couldn't fathom that love, grace was meant to last
 Spread love throughout all of humanity
 So I die on this cross saving with amnesty
 The times now, I'm running out of breath
 And I'm headed to heaven until I resurrect

 Assigning Michael to help, really alleviate
 And grief or dismay, I do understand
 But we thrive in a war, spiritual battle lands
 I'm back mane, still serving a sentence simply a sight
 Sane-ity comes from a sound mind, I stay grounded
 As I pray for the families that's mourning losses
 Too many often, too many coffins, too much despair
 And tear droplets, from families grieving whisper a prayer
 So that darkness don't consume
