When I see perfect faces in front of me
 Magazines full of fabulous beauty queens
 How could you think that I'm not obscene, me
 Look at me, saggy baggy and five foot three
 How could you love the likes of me, me
 So I'll stay inside these walls and hide myself away
 Day after day I'll stare at my TV and hope and pray
 That my poor flesh will melt and flow away
 How can you even guess what I'm going through
 Look at you, you're so pretty you know it's true
 You're so lucky the way you grew, you
 I can't bear to have my face and body seen out there
 And you all stare; I want to shrivel up and disappear
 To fall into the deep and darkened air
 So you see I cannot show my obscenity
 Sights like me were never meant to be proud and free
 I'm locked away with my destiny, me
 Save your tears -- I've lived with this for all my fading years
 It's very clear that some of us were never meant to share
 Our ugliness with you who walk out there
 Now I'll go back to my shadow show
 Where I'll grow into the world I know
