Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
 Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art;
 Thou my best Thought, by day or by night;
 Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
 Be Thou my Wisdom, be Thou my true Word;
 Be Thou ever with me, and I with Thee Lord;

 Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee, one.
 Will Thou preserve me, midst all of my foes;
 Thy love as a fortress, that none can o're throw;
 O be Thou my guardian, my shield and my stay;
