Covered in red, before my eyes betrayed to see
 Another terror, death laden mirage
 Of feigned sanctity
 A heaven defunct now held by flame
 Torn to pieces, in ruin, the heavens gate
 War devours, this ravaged land
 Decimated by secret plans
 Apocalyptic scenes occur
 While flames erupt from below
 Deploring this human depravity
 Fading hope in future years
 We watch the towers crumble
 As dust consumes us all
 Ideals of old held hope for some
 But mankind's nature surfaced
 What evil lay dormant
 Forgotten, banished for centuries
 Suppressed by radical psychology
 Forced into a corner
 With nothing but our minds
 Reaching out to no one
 Blindly stumbling on
 Lifeless, consumed
 A future bleak a time foretells
 Ageless empires raised to ash
 As dust consumes us all
 The last of us, engraved into the stone
 Left behind our fortunes
 Now build with sticks and stones
 Staring into a void of silence
 The unknown awaits our end
 Ascending towards the horizon
 Trusting that we'll create again
 We gaze into the fire, but nothing there to see
