An out-of-business restaurant was someone's dream once
 I can still see you in college, putting on your cherry lip gloss
 But time did what it does, and it happened to us
 The people who we thought we'd be call out who we'd become
 And I came back to Manhattan like a tourist does
 From a taxi, seatbelt fastened to which pocket I keep cash in

 Then he turns around to see she isn't coming
