I knew a boy once

 And I said "How is it that you have a shirt
 that says 'Petal'?"
 He said "I've been there. You should go, too."
 He was just something like quiet candle

 Well, his mom smoked pot and she
 She loved to see, see the world and
 take him with in Indiana where he was born and
 he crossed my path just at the right time, I guess
 And it was something like an other known

 I said "Far away just here with you now
 but I'd like you to take me to Indiana
 far away from this, oh, biblical mess that I live in"
 And it was almost something heaven for awhile
