Broke up the Time

If I hear one more person talking about these days
 Saying it's hard in this day and age
 I will explode, how do they know
 What it was like 2000 years ago?
 A look at our cousins in the sea
 They seem highly together, they seem to be free
 But do they know what's going down on the land
 Because the're down in the water with their heads in the sand
