We Know Where He Is

I remember my grandpa when I was a boy
 When he talked about Jesus, his heart beamed with joy
 He'd tell of the place where we'd all get to go
 If we just believe in the one we love so
 I was listening to the preacher talking today
 Our hearts were all heavy as we laid him away
 But our sorrows was lightened with the words that he shared
 He's gone on to glory that ain't him laying there
 He's gone where his Bible told him he'd go
 He's taking a walk on those streets of pure gold
 That heavenly marching is finally his
 No we haven't lost him, we know where he is
