Someone Else's Problem

She left her stuff and took off
 While you were on the road
 She finally decided
 You are someone else's problem
 The old guitar on the wall
 Precariously hung
 And when it falls it will become somebody else's problem
 Everybody closed their doors and turned away
 They don't need you
 They shut their eyes and try to sleep
 But in their dreams they will see you
 Bills don't stop coming in
 So you just stop paying them
 The cost has now become somebody else's problem
 Your itchy skin and dirty feet
 You scratch at them until they bleed
 The heart that doesn't beat is someone else's problem
 Everybody closed their doors and turned away
 They don't need you
 They shut their eyes and try to sleep
 But in their dreams they still see you
 You blew it all very well by yourself
 And everybody knows that every hell is someone else's problem
 Make your bed
 Jump in it
 Let the candle burn until the
 nightmare has become somebody else's problem
 Everybody close your doors and turn away
