I think the setting that we prefer live is kind of what we've been doing with
With places like New York and D. C., we've been doing more, you know, multiple nights
And we just did three nights at Terminal Five, here
And, you know, that equals to like, one night at some bigger venue
But I think our fans prefer it, and I think we prefer it
In that medium size room where
There's still intimacy but enough people to make it feel like something's happening
But, uh, in particular, with like, Terminal Five, you can see
The sight lines from the stage are amazing, like you can see everybody's faces
But I think that kind of medium size room, I think suites the band all the way around
And pleases the people who wanna come and see us 'cause it's not
You know, you're not this little pin drops on stage somewhere, uh
And you know, it's still bombastic enough with a lot of intimacy
I've always felt that any, any show is, is great in it's own way
So I don't actually put one above the other, I don't prefer club shows to like giant arena shows
Or we've open for You Too and played to like 60,000 people
Or A. C. L. was daytime this year and that was like, you know, huge amount of people
And that's never been a problem to me, I think people think of us as this dark band
And there's a certain aesthetic and we certainly love playing in the rooms that Sam describes
And we can get our light show going and like really create our own mood
But I've always kind of thought whenever we had like a daytime Slaughter Head festival
I just think of like Wood Stock and the footage I've seen of that
And just think there's, there's nothing more rock than like
Daytime, with 50,000 people to me
So, it's not always the most comfortable thing 'cause you kind of
Rush on to stage and rush off stage with no sound check and it's the daytime
But there, they have their own amazing energy for me, and then club shows
Tiny, tiny club shows have their own unique energy and it's uh, all sort of different flavours
But it's always, you know, whatever is fine as far as I'm concerned
I think the younger, the younger band is like nighttime is kind of a crutch
You know, it's a bit of security and then, the more comfortable you are
Which is playing your music like it doesn't matter, like, you should just be ready to go
And there, there is, I agree with Paul, that whole like aspect of like daytime and high energy
And you know, the band does apply to that
Like we have music that can be played in the daytime without, uh
Without loosing anything, you know what I mean?
Without loosing the vail of nighttime or that, that
You know, that security blanket that it, that it provides
