Again it rings, that old stressing thing
 I gotta be on my way
 Is it time to do what they told me to?
 Well, not today
 Still I get no break 'cause the angst will bake
 I know the ice is getting thin
 There's no hiding from the enemy that lurks within
 But I'm hanging on

 Carrying on
 In times when nothing's good
 Here's a nod to those distressing
 Clichés I will embrace
 Hoping that true comfort somehow lies
 In the loner's ways
 Forgot to sleep, instead of counting sheep
 I tally times I've slipped
 Got what it takes to make some more mistakes
 Can't get enough of it
 Tryin' to look the other way
 Hurts my retina
 Far down the hole I fell and there's no getting up
 But I'm hanging on
