At this time, the young lady that needs no introduction
 The young woman that made all of this possible tonight
 I'd like for you to receive the first lady of music
 Ms. Aretha Franklin

 Her father wh- Reverend C.L. Franklin of Detroit, Michigan

 At this time, we'd like to welcome down front
 A young lady who certainly is a legend in her own time
 And a young woman who is among many of the people
 Who inspired this great singer tonight
 And we thought tonight to honor her
 By bringing her right down front
 A young lady who is still very much deeply rooted in gospel
 And I speak of none other than the famous Ms. Clara Ward

 And a lot of folk that might not know anything about the lord
